I know their ads say it's freaky fast. I think it's freakishly marginal. OK sandwiches that are whipped up quickly and are on a par with Subway. If I have to get a sandwich, I prefer Quiznos toasted subs. Sorry Jimmy Johns, it's not all that.

I do like my jimmy johns every now and then. My son was home sick today, and I had yet to go to the store, so I ordered a sub for delivery. Fast service, but they added something to it that I didn't want, and forgot my sprouts. Not a huge deal, I'm not very picky when it comes to food, but it is always good to get your orders correct. Ate it all though, and it was good.

I only know of two Jimmy John's: one in Gainesville, and one here - both of them are in equally desolate areas. Okay, admit it guys, if UF wasn't in Gainesville, it would be such a janky town. I got the tuna. They got my peppers right. Sub was made quickly, and on par with the other Jimmy John's I ate at. That, and it's in St. Joe. And nothing is in St. Joe! What's there to complain about?

You can keep your toasted sub, Quizno's is too overrated. Jimmy John's is a great quick meal. Great for on the go. Their delivery is fast, usually have it delivered within 10-15 minutes.

Meh. Really good bread and less than $6 for a decent sandwich. Not a very big selection of vegetables. Tasty chips and good pickles. They seem to always heap on the mayonnaise (to the point that the other contents of the sandwich slide out) so I order sandwiches without it. Just a tip.

Given a Choice, between Vitale's Sub & Jimmy John's ...... By the way another sub shop, named Vitale's is directly across the street from Jimmy John's. I'd be a fool not to choose Jimmy John's. Why ??? First lets look at Jimmy John's: They don't have the word "FAMOUS", in their name. 8'" sandwich More meat and cheeses Tastier bread More salad type ingredients Wider selection of sandwiches Jimmy John's 8" is about $1 LESS then Vitalie's 6" Now, lets compare Vitale's: They're really not FAMOUS 6" sandwiches Less meat and cheese (guess you don't need more on 6 inches) Terrible bread minimal salad type ingredients Fewer sandwich choices Vitalie's 6" is a dollar more than Jimmy John's 8" (thats right $1 more) The Staff at both are very helpful. With Winter is around the corner,will Vitale's survive, based on the above comparisons ????

Sandwiches are just like all the other JJ's--very good. However, they haven't been "Freaky Fast" like they claim to be. Stopped in yesterday to a completely empty store. No employees behind the counter, nothing. The lone worker was repeatedly putting ice in the sink, without acknowledging me. After 4 or 5 trips back to that sink (and me banging my keys on the counter) I finally got decent service. Delivery service is great though!

Well, the service was fine, but the bread was hard and chewy. Jimmy Johns is a nice chain, but this place was mediocre. However, the locations is very nice.
